1. Boutwell’s Bowling Center

Boutwell’s Bowling Center in Concord features 20+ lanes of candlepin bowling as well as a full bar and lounge. They offer glow bowling on Saturday nights and even free bowling lessons. They also offer several bowling leagues—men’s, women’s, mixed, and senior’s.

Their hours vary by season so check their website for the most up-to-date info. Here’s where you can find them:

2. Bowling Acres

Bowling Acres in Peterborough has been offering the Monadnock region “all-weather recreation” since 1962. They have 10 candlepin bowling lanes, a bar & grill, and even a fun beer garden in the summer. They offer several different bowling leagues and other themed tournaments. 3. Bowl-O-Rama Family Fun Center

Portsmouth’s Bowl-O-Rama Fun Center features 22 candlepin bowling lanes with fully automatic scoring, new plush seating, and a large arcade. Stop by their new restaurant (Shenanigans) for pizzas, burgers, and more as well as some well-deserved drinks like craft cocktails and adult milkshakes.

They host regular bowling leagues, birthday parties, cosmic bowling, and tons of fun youth, singles, and charity tournaments. Here’s where you can find them:

4. ELMM Community Center

The Ellen Lambert Murphy Memorial Community Center in Winchester offers candlepin bowling for private rentals and youth leagues. Their bowling alley was originally built in 1941 but was just renovated and brought up-to-date in August 2023.

5. Exeter Bowling Lanes

Exeter Bowling Lanes offers 12 lanes of candlepin bowling along with pool tables, dart leagues, and lots of local entertainment. Also found at Exeter Lanes is the Shooters Sports Pub & Grill featuring 12 tap lines, a full bar, and great pizzas and pub food.

They have glow bowling on Friday and Saturday nights, an arcade, and fun events live poker and trivia. See their website for the latest hours and specials. Important note: Exeter Bowling Lanes is a cash only facility. (But they do have an ATM.)

6. Funspot

Laconia’s Funspot features 20 bowling lanes for both candlepin and ten-pin (and they also host leagues for both). It first opened in 1952 but the lanes were newly renovated back in 2018. They’re open for bowling every day and have tons of bowling specials. (Check their website below for the latest.)

The “largest bowling center in central New Hampshire” also boasts the alleged “largest arcade in the world.” There’s also indoor mini-golf, kiddie rides, bingo, and tons more. (Seriously, this place is huge.) There’s also a restaurant and full bar on site. Here’s where you can find them:

7. King Bowling Lanes

King Bowling Lanes in Goffstown has been offering up candlepin bowling in the state of New Hampshire since it opened in 1939 and used “pinboys” to set the pins. It’s undergone a few improvements since then so you can look forward to a modern experience now on their 10 candlepin bowling lanes.

They offer candlepin bowling 7 days a week along with leagues of all kinds—women, men, mixed, couples, and youths. They also host glow bowling, birthday parties, and have a game room with pool tables, arcade games, and ping pong. Here’s where you can find them:

8. Lakeside Lanes

At Lakeside Lanes in Manchester you’ll find 24 candlepin bowling lanes. Though it opened in 1959, Lakeside is now a fully modern facility that meets the highest of official bowling standards and regulations.

They offer public bowling 7 days a week as well as glow bowling, a league for every day of the week, and fun bowling tournaments. Check their Facebook page below for the most current schedule.

9. Leda Lanes

Also opened in 1959 is Nashua’s Leda Lanes which features 36 lanes of candlepin bowling, pool tables, an arcade, and a sports bar and lounge.

Join one of their regular bowling leagues or schedule your birthday party or private event in their super fun party area known as Leda’s Lighthouse. (12 candlepin bowling lanes all to yourself!) Here’s where you can find them:

10. Meyer Maple Lanes Bowling Alley

Meyer Maple Lanes Bowling Alley in Claremont is one of the only two alleys in New Hampshire that has both ten-pin and candlepin. (They offer leagues for both types, too.) They also have an arcade area and a small bar. Here’s where you can find them:

11. Rumors Sports Bar & Bowling

At New Hampshire’s newest candlepin bowling alley (opened in 2022) you’ll find 10 candlepin bowling lanes plus arcade games, board games, darts, and many other ways to amuse yourself.

Rumor’s Sports Bar & Lounge also doubles as an entertainment venue. They regularly host fun theme events, live music, guest DJs, karaoke nights, and tons more. Check their Facebook page below for their latest promotions.

Strike Zone Pizza Pub in Colebrook (formerly known as Spare Time Pizza) has 6 lanes of candlepin bowling. They also have a pretty dynamic restaurant featuring pizzas (obviously) and tons of other great stuff on a menu that changes often. Here’s where you can find them:
