At Apex Entertainment in Albany you’ll find four candlepin bowling lanes (and 18 ten-pin lanes). And if that’s not enough, this massive entertainment center also offers escape rooms, bumper cars, laser tag, pool, sports simulators, and an arcade. Apex also has a small restaurant and full bar. 2. Atlas Bowl – No longer a candlepin alley
Atlas Bowl in Trumansburg, New York had been a typical ten-pin bowling alley until February 2022 when they installed–brace yourself–a brand new candlepin bowling lane. Yes, lane, singular. However, as of 2025 they have gotten rid of that one lane and feature only 10-pin now. (But I wanted to keep this alley on this page in case you came searching for updates on it.)
In addition to 10-pin bowling, Atlas also hosts trivia nights, local DJs, and parties and other fun events. They also have an on-site restaurant and full bar. Here’s where you can find them if you’re still interested:

Atlas Bowl no longer has a candlepin lane. I was hoping to plan a road trip out there this summer and noticed their website no longer mentioned candlepin. I called and they told me they no longer have any candlepin available, sadly.
